A Metal Spacer is a precision-machined ring or disc used in metal slitter machines to control the spacing and alignment between slitter knives on the arbor (shaft). It help ensure a consistently accurated slitting width during rewinding as coiling strip requires.
Same precision as knife, but cheaper or lighter. Popular material options: 40Cr,C45, 65Mn, 9CrSi, GCr15.and stainless steel for steel rings; PU and rubber as bonded material, IRHD 60-95, aginst worse working situations like acid, hot, and oily.
